A provider tax report (part 1 and part 2) from the Pacific Health Policy Group was presented to the House Committee on Ways and Means on Thursday, January 19, 2012. The report outlines the current tax application in Vermont and gives an overview of health care related taxes in other states. The report also looks at potential additional provider class revenues and totals what those assessments might be worth. The range was $8 million to $49 million that might be raised depending on the rate that is used.
